Olympics 200m champion Letsile Tebogo has Greece on top of his list of destinations that he wants to visit after the season.
Tebogo has had an impressive campaign and just made it better on Friday when he won the 100m in style at the Rome Diamond League meeting.
He clocked 9.87 to beat Americans Christian Coleman and Fred Kerley, celebrating his win 20m before crossing the line.
That has maintained his unbeaten Diamond League season and he has two meetings, Zurich next week, and the season finale in Brussels, before he takes a well-earned holiday.
“The first place I will go is Greece because I saw Mondo [Armand Duplantis] there and I was like that should be a great place,” said the sprinter in reference to the multiple pole vault champion who was recently on vacation in Greece with his girlfriend.
“Then I will go watch Formula One in Doha and Abu Dhabi and it should be enough.”
The Chelsea fan then said he could also squeeze in a match at Stamford Bridge if his manager allows before he then embarks on the 2025 season.
Tebogo has maintained his brilliant post-Olympics form.
Since winning the 200m gold in Paris, he has claimed back to back wins in 200m in Lausanne and Silesia before the 100m victory in Rome.
