Bafana Bafana midfielder urges locals to turn up in numbers as they prepare to host Uganda

Bafana Bafana midfielder Jayden Adams urges supporters to turn up in numbers at the Orlando stadium where they will face Uganda for the AFCON 2025 qualifiers match.

Jayden Adams plays in the South Africa top flight league, the Betway Premiership, for Stellenbosch FC.

He has recently appreared on a video posted by the Bafana Bafana official X social account urging fans to come support them as they host Uganda in the 36,761 capacity stadium, Orlando Stadium.

Both teams are in group K contested by South Sudan and Congo who are yet to play their match later on Friday, September 5 at 7 pm.

“I just want to invite you for the game on Friday against Uganda at the Orlando stadium. will you please come and support us in numbers would like you see everyone at the stadium and please bring your loudest voices to the stadium.”

Uganda have never defeated South Africa, although they pulled off good performances recently against Botswana beating them 1-0n and narrowly losing to African giants Algeria losing 2-1.

Uganda will face an uphill task as they head to a stadium that will be filled mostly by the locals.

Despite this Uganda have been preparing comprehensively for this match to avoid any early dissapointments.

Will the East Africans be able to beat the strong South Africans?
