Kenya’s music scene is buzzing with new releases from some of its top artists. From protest songs to party anthems, these latest tracks are sure to make you move!

Here is a list of seven songs released this week.

Kenyan singer and songwriter Nadia Mukami has released a new song titled “Wake Up.” The song comes in the wake of the ongoing Finance Bill protests in Kenya.

In the song, Nadia pleads with everyone to be aware of the happenings and to stand firm in fighting for their rights.

Similar to Nadia Mukami, Kenyan rapper Trio Mio has also released a freestyle urging the youth to come out and participate in the ongoing protests that aim to improve the situation for the entire country.

Trio Mio discusses the current government’s manifesto, which he suggests is harsh on the citizens.

Continuing with the protest theme, Iyanii has released a song called ‘Sauti Ya Wanyone,’, calling on leaders to take responsibility and serve the citizens with respect.

According to Iyanii, the price of everything has increased, and everyone is suffering. He calls on the government to listen to the people’s cries.

Kenyan recording artist and the king of R&B and Hip-Hop, Nyashinski, has returned with a new song titled ‘Silencer’.

‘Silencer’ is an apparent diss track allegedly aimed at his former producer-turned-foe, Cedo.

Nyashinski and Cedo allegedly fell out over a multi-million deal, which led to Nyashinski pulling 20 of his hit songs from Spotify and Apple Music.

Kenyan gospel couple Wapendwa Muziki has a new sizzling jam for lovers in a town called ‘Nimepatikana’.

According to Wapendwa, the song is more than a song; it’s a prayer for healing and Godly marriages.

They believe its message will mend hearts, strengthen bonds, and inspire couples worldwide.

Award-winning songwriter, singer, and vocalist Bensoul has a new party anthem titled ‘Namanga’.

The song, which features Amapiano beats, is sure to get you on the dance floor.

Ivy Namu, Willis Raburu’s wife, has dropped her debut track, ‘Concrete Jungle’.
