Triple world champion Noah Lyles and his girlfriend Junelle Bromfield are enjoying their holiday after calling it a season after the Paris Olympic Games.
Bromfield sharing a series of photos of herself and Lyles, the three-time world 200m champion having the time of their lives at the beach. At the Paris Olympic Games, the Jamaican athlete competed in the 4x400m mixed relay and the 400m flat.
In the mixed relay, Team Jamaica finished fifth in the final after securing a spot after their fourth-place finish in the heats.
In the women’s 400m, Bromfield finished third in the heats before fading to eighth place in the semifinal and missing out on a slot in the final.
On his part, Lyles was off to a great start in his Olympic campaign before testing positive for COVID-19 during the competitions. He won the men’s 100m title in style, crossing the finish line ahead of Kishane Thompson and Fred Kerley.
In the men’s 200m, Lyles could only afford third place and he failed to compete in the men’s 4x100m relay where Team USA was disqualified. After the Olympics, Lyles has faced a lot of backlash but he seems unfazed by that as he was spotted enjoying his time with his girlfriend.
After the Olympic Games, Bromfield also came out to talk about how she has been attacked due to her colour and sought her haters to stop the unwarranted insults.
